Hope is a recent UC San Diego graduate with a B.S in Microbiology and a minor in Global Health. Her undergraduate research focused on the role of microRNAs in the early development of the retina and cell cycle. Hope continues to work with the bioinformatics team to perform data analyses and generate deliverables for publication. She plans to pursue a medical degree and work in primary care as a physician and advocate for patients.
Outside of lab, Hope enjoys recording music, playing tennis, and searching for the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe!
